The thicker the boundary layer, the temperature of the boundary layer is much higher than the mainstream temperature of the organic heat carrier, which will cause the boundary layer to overheat, cause the organic heat carrier to decompose and polymerize into colloids, and form residual carbon to collect on the pipe wall, further affecting heat transfer. Such a vicious cycle will not only cause the tube wall to overheat, but also accelerate the aging and failure of the organic heat carrier. The thickness of the boundary layer is related to the state of fluid flow in the tube. According to fluid mechanics theory, when the Reynolds number R <2230, the fluid is laminar in the tube, and when the Reynolds number R> 4000, the fluid is turbulent in the tube. Only by forming a turbulent state can a thinner boundary layer be obtained. Practice has proved that when the Li Su of the organic heat carrier in the tube reaches 1.5 ~ 3.0m / s, a thinner boundary layer can be obtained to achieve enhanced heat transfer and reduce the temperature of the boundary layer.

The heat load intensity of different heating surfaces is different, and the requirements of the flow rate of organic heat carrier in the tube should not be the same. Therefore, the flow velocity in the tube of the radiation section is not less than 2.0M / S, and the flow velocity in the tube of the convection section is not less than 1.5m / s.
